Eyes on a Skateboard

You see ’em everyday. You might even be one of them. I used to be. The Skaters of NYC. Amongst all of the sounds you hear in this city, the sound of a skateboard rolling over pavement makes you think of so many things. Instant thoughts of nostalgia, fun, and cool run through my head every time I see them coasting down busy streets like St. Marks in the East Village. Due to some pretty awesome injuries, I decided to stick to driving over skating, but I can’t deny the desire to get back on a skateboard. Again those thoughts rolled through my mind as I watched Josh Maready’s sick ‘Skate through NYC’ video.

Check out Josh Maready’s website for more visual goodies.
Also check out his write up of how he put this all together on his blog.
