First Class Fitment
Canibeat First Class Fitment, what can I say? One of the best shows I’ve been to in a while – thats what. Finally a show thats about the quality cars and just plain old cool people. I haven’t been to a car show in years. Largely in part because most of them are lame. Bikini contests get old, lame wannabe rappers/DJ’s, overpriced disgusting food, and more rice than my grandma can cook in a year. Reading quality car blogs like Canibeat.com was more the enough for me. When I heard these guys were putting a show on, yea, no question, I had to be there.
While Ken was on his way down to Princeton, NJ, I was already there with my homie Rich. When it comes to his own cars, Rich isn’t a fitment type of guy, so that means his car isn’t that low and his wheels dont poke. Like me, he’s more into the hardcore top speed JDM style. Even still, there is just something about the fitment scene that I love – the style.
My plan for the day was to get some awesome coverage and put a sick vid together. However, our camera battery decided that today would not be the day. Disappointed as I was, nothing could take away the feeling of hangin’ with like minded enthusiasts at an awesome location. It also seemed that the video idea was something that sparked in a lot of people. I must’ve seen 10+ people with video set ups at the event. Tripods and cameras galore! Here, have a look at James Hartey’s vid from that day:
As you can see, the event was awesome. This is Canibeat after all, this is proper.
More shots of the day below.
