RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF : Nakai-San

Luke Huxham has done an incredible job at capturing the magic of RWB. We’ve all stared at photos of these immaculate Porsches on the internet and various magazines. This time though, the connection is a bit deeper due to a number of things. First of all, the presence of Nakai-San. Much like other famous tuners in Japan, there’s something about his character and personality that draws interest even before considering the fact that he is the reason RAUH-Welt Begriff exists. Then there is the work of Maiham Media. You would think it’s a simple task, video awesome cars and a cool guy talking about them, done deal. As some of us already know, it’s definitely not that simple. You need to have your own special bit of magic to communicate to the viewer effectively. In my favorite part of this interview, where Nakai-San speaks of ‘Stella’, you can see what I’m referring to. Nakai-San’s description of his car, the panning shots/camera angles, and the soundtrack all add up to evoke thoughts of history, emotion, and desire. Hats off to Maiham Media and of course the untouchable RAUH-Welt Begriff. I’m definitely inspired.

Last but not least, huge shout out to Fatlace!
