If you have been following along for Part 1 and Part 2 of SNTRL x WEKFEST’s The PreGame coverage, you have followed us as we got together the night before the big event, WEKEAST, which is the Northeast tour stop for Wekfest. The 2nd Annual PreGame which is a New York City meet, cruise and tour, is a “word-of-mouth” event that brings together good times for car culture fanatics, hitting up famous locations such as VRaceworks Harlem Meet, Umali Manhattan Meet, 53rd and 6th, also known as the Chicken and Rice, “Halal Guys” spot and for this year, an undisclosed location that gave us a beautiful skyline view of the Island of Manhattan.
Part 3 coverage picks up where Part 2 left us. Right in the heart of Times Square. After dealing with NYPD “safety-checkpoints” once we hit 42nd street, much of the group had gotten broken up and scattered. Some people ended up calling it a night, heading home to get some rest, while others made their way towards a checkpoint we had assigned for regrouping. This spot was the scene of the endpoint for last years PreGame. For 2013, our plans had us ending at the night with an awesome view of NYC. Just another awesome night. Until next time!
