THE FRESHEST KIDZ II

Friday night, Brooklyn, NYC. That sentence alone can lead to countless ideas of what might be going down. A race? Art show? DJ Battle? Skate sesh? You name it, it probably happened, and if not, it will. Whatever the case may be, you will be sure to find people throwing it down for what they are passionate about. Thats exactly the type of energy that Pravan and I witnessed at the Freshest Kidz II. A 2 vs 2 Bboy annual battle put together by the NY’s own Entree LS. First of all, gotta say, this event was incredible. A combination of true street culture involving, art, fashion, DJ/Music, and of course, the Bboys. Battles inside, Graffiti pieces going up outside, and sick beats coming from the 1’s and 2’s all over. Place was full of positive vibes from all of the crews that came from as near as BK/Jerz, all the way to Japan and Korea. Pravan showed up armed and ready to capture the action, and there was no shortage of that on this night, just another Friday in BK. On to the photos:
