RAVSPEC to SEMA Part 1

It’s SEMA week! If you’re like me, you’re probably unable to put your phone/tablet down due to the #SEMA hashtag. It’s that time of the year where all of the builds that shops across the country have lost sleep over finally make their debut. It’s amazing to see how many new builds have come together in Vegas this year. For those of you wondering what the Tri-state area has to offer for SEMA, look no further. The local hero’s at Ravspec have got us covered! Just a few days ago, there was a certain semi truck loading up a few certain cars to head over to a certain car show named SEMA. You may recognize a couple of these cars from the East Coast car scene. One of the more notable cars of the area, the Ravspec X WDUltimate BRZ, is heading back to vegas. You may be thinking “Wasn’t that car yellow?!” Yes, it was. As you can see, there have been a few changes. Aside from the BRZ, there are a few more cars in the Ravpsec fleet that are making the journey over. WDultimate’s 2015 STi, Boostelo Racing’s STi hatch and a brand new build dressed in TRA Kyoto. Friend of SNTRL, Jeffrey Liu was on hand to document the first step in the journey for the Ravpsec crew. Here are some behind the scenes shots of the transport set up. Enjoy!

Ooo, something new! Here’s the newest member to the Ravpsec line up! TRA Kyoto Rocketbunny Red RX7. A few more detailed shots coming later. Keep scrolling!
Above, a sigh of relief, the cars are loaded and headed to Vegas. The work isn’t over though. Time to fly to Vegas and meet the fruits of their labor at SEMA.
Flash forward to Vegas, time to unload. Mark, Calvin, Kenny, Blanco and Jeff are on site. You can imagine the pressure, hoping these cars would make it in one piece! In one rig you a Varis BRZ, Rocketbunny FD and a couple of STi’s. Enough to bite your nails over. Seems like everything went smoothly on the cross country journey. One by one, each car makes it’s way down for more prep work before the roll-in.
How about a look at the newest addition to the Ravspec family? Yes, I would like that very much. Throughout the last few months I’ve heard a couple of rumors about this build and have been excited to see the results! Ravpsec is known for having some of the nicest builds in our area. From the looks of it, this FD is no different. Congrats to Calvin, Mark, Blanco and crew for finishing it up! Hope you guys got some rest! Jeff had a quick photo session before it hit the show floor.
