Honda Day Atco 2011

Threatened by torrential rains the night before, it wasn’t until late saturday night that we got the confirmation from the OGS Camp that Honda Day was a 100% go. For many, Saturday gave way to a sleepless night. Getting ready for an early morning roll-out with their show cars shiny and the race cars prepped, gave way to a bright and sunny spring Sunday morning. We knew that Honda Day would be better than ever, but Honda Day Atco 2011 went beyond expectations and raised the bar to epic proportions.
If you happened to be on Jackson Road around 11:30am or anytime there after you were most likely frustrated and stressed. Honda Day was officially “sold-out”. We have never seen Atco Raceway get this hectic, ever!
Honda Day Atco 2011 was incredible, and its amazing to see so much of the Honda love and passion that was displayed today. From the parking lot to the car show to the drag strip, H-Love was present all day. We are glad that we arrived early enough to see the old school and the new school rep hard. Enthusiast from the West Coast, down South, Canada and of course the Tri-State area came out in full force with the type of quality rides that make Honda Day such an awesome event.
VRaceWorks and the OGS camp did their thing at Honda Day Atco.
Their booth was full of Honda goodness, including the BULLETPROOF and JDM Squad’s DC2.
EatSleepRace was doing their thing and the Team Alpha DC2 was looking oh-so-sweet.
Honda Day brought out some other JDM coolness with a few EVO’s, RX7’s and this gem right here…..an R30 RS Turbo Skyline.
