SNTRL at Import Alliance
Import Alliance 2011 went down and wow, did it impress as expected. The streets of Nashville, Tennessee were overrun by some of the most incredible builds from the East Coast. Familiar faces, eye-opening builds, hot-ass weather, the latest trends and the “next-big-thing” are in order.
SNTRL’s own Norman Midence took an early morning flight, Friday morning with only one goal in mind: Give the world a view of Import Alliance 2011 through the Lens. So let’s get started on a what went down! After viewing the post, scroll to the end for full coverage of the Import Alliance 2011 gallery.
Let’s kick things off with a couple of awesome rolling shots on the highways of Tennessee.
Although the rusted hood is nothing new, this bubble looks incredible with the rust on biege combo, slammed.
BULLETPROOF is all over the place! 🙂
VDubs, complete with bagged and static setups were on the scene. Jetta love for all euro fans.
The streets of Tennessee lined with mk3’s, mk4’s, harlequins to name a few.
Recaro seat Free giveaway! Just kidding, but man, if you are looking for an OEM red Recaro, this would be the place.
E30 looking sexy and pissed at the same time.
VIP GS in Canibeat’s booth looking incredible in blue with boost. Or maybe Im slightly color blind and its purple.
Beautiful Coupe.
Eat Sleep Race’s booth with their resident big-turbo beast Lex.
Peek-a-boo I see you.
We have had a fascination with NSX’s since the mid-90’s, which is not the most uncommon or unusual thing. But looking at this particular NSX just takes this fascination to a whole new level. Wow, just WOW.
At first glance, a few things would come to mind. First off, another turbo EK with an FMIC smiling at you. A closer inspection would indicate that particular smile to be “off” for some reason.
Walking to the side of the hatch would induce eye-popping double-takes. An LS swapped EK hatch? Judging by the badging, this Vette motor came out of a Cadillac CTSV. It may sound confusing with all the different names thrown in, but one thing is for sure, this is one nasty swap!
On the topic of LS’s…..Import Alliance brought a handful of impressive Domestics to enjoy the weekend. Gotta appreciate the love!
04 STI sitting hard with the perfect stance on some sweet-potato colored RPF1’s.
There was a good number of well-done S2K’s at Import Alliance this year.
ummm yea, We love hard tops.
Uggghhhhhhhhhhhh
Fitted from Georgia.
Amazing Mk4 Supra. The total combination of color, wheels, clean lines and what’s lurking underneath the hood is #WINNING.
VtecTurtle’s Honda Accord Wagon making the rounds.
Hoodless, subtle wide-body EVO sitting pretty on chrome RPF’s.
Its 2011, and if you didn’t know by now….K is the way. Import Alliance 2011 featured K’s-a-plenty to go along with CCW’s-a-plenty with CCW rims featured on rides all over place. K-CCW combo on this red EM1 are just perfect.
When we say K’s-a-plenty, we weren’t joking. Check out this mk1 Volkswagon Truck with a K-swap. Immaculate, rare and fast. That’s tough to beat.
Happy Neon’s get love too. Just look at that smiling face.
Plenty of quality Silvia’s on hand all weekend.
Careful parking the rear-to-the-curb with this Xb and its JDM melon-shooters.
Import Alliance never fails to impress, and we are already looking forward to next year’s event! Special Thanks to all those that put their hard work and time into making things happen at Import Alliance!
