Formula D Long Beach: DRIFT CAPTURES Part 1

Nothing beats the feeling that rushes through your body than when a car at sixty miles per hour plus is sliding sideways right at your feet. Having the opportunity to be on the track as media for SNTRL at Formula D Long Beach was such an experience. It wouldn’t come close to how you see it up in the stands, it’s a whole different mindset and perspective. Being able to hear the cars tear up every corner and standing basically right against their frame when they come whipping passed you was nothing like I’ve ever experienced before, it was so exciting! Watching from the stands is a great experience, but from the ground, it’s completely different. You smell the cars, the track and all the smoke, you feel the wind carry off the car when it races passed you. It’s such a rush, it’s as if everyone around me doesn’t really exist. I had such an awesome time being on the track and capturing all of the drivers in their true element. Rather than posting a play by play of the event, I’d like to share part 1 of the still moments I was fortunate enough to capture as each driver flew by my lens. Enjoy the photos!
