Gold Coast Concours show took place on September 12, 2010 in Glen Cove, NY, where downtown streets were closed off to host the show which was just incredible. What made the show incredible was the quality of the cars outside and the cars inside the parking garage. It was great to see such a huge turn out for both a good cause, and for the love of all types of cars from all over the world.

My boy Matt, who is part of Eurowerkz had informed me that there was a group rolling out from the Bronx to go to Glen Cove at 8:30am, so I made my way down to roll out together with the group. There was an expected caravan of 50+ cars, so it would have made for a really cool trip. Once there, everyone started to prep their cars, and get some coffee at Dunkin’. We waited for a little while, then rode out. I got split from most of the group as I had to pull over to fix a camera mount on my car, but I arrived in Glen Cove pretty much at the same time. Not too long after arriving, it started to rain, so I was worried that it may ruin the festivities. As I watched the cars roll in, that worry was pretty much gone. The quality of the cars there that day was just sick.

Anyone who appreciates older BMW’s, simple, clean, beautiful, rare, would have have been on cloud 9 like I was that day. I spent a good amount of time just walking around and admiring the cars in the parking garage.

Once I stepped outside, it was more of the same, but now with some incredible exotics. Audi’s, Lambos, GTR’s, Benz’s, were all representin that day on the streets of Glen Cove.

D2Forged was doing their thing as well, not surprisingly. D2 is the movement, and they are making their presence known everywhere!

Not to be left out, even the JDM heads came through to rep their rides.

Overall, just an excellent show for a good cause, with Donations benefiting Diabetes Research Institute. The 2nd annual Gold Coast Concours show was awesome, and I look forward to attending again next year!
