Street Wars/EVO vs STi – Final Event of 2012

For most people, the transition of fall to winter signals a time to stay indoors, away from the cold weather. Standing in the frigid cold? Most would give you a dirty look if you even suggested it. But for those racers that know an opportunity when they see one, it’s a time to get out, break-records and break hearts. The final import drag racing event at Englishtown Raceway park in Old Bridge Township went down on November 25, 2012. Originally planned for earlier in the month of November, Hurricane Sandy pushed the date of the event back to the end of the month as clean up and recovery of the area was underway. Hoodies and Northface’s, give you a glimpse of just how cold it was, but you can be sure that the competition on the track was hot all day. The final Street Wars and EVO VS STi event of 2012, presented by Team OGS was a great time of racing to round out the drag racing season.
SNTRL’s Hern Allen aka The Fourth Photography and Norman Midence aka Norman M. Photography was on the scene capturing the highlights. Hardcore racers were on the scene doing what they do. Hopefully this winter season goes quickly and we can get back on the track sooner than later. See you in 2013!
