Honda Day: Englishtown Day 1
The OGS Camp does it again! After an epic Honda Day earlier this year at Part 1 aka Honda Day Atco, Honda Day Part 2 was destined to continue the madness. Scheduled to be a two-day event at Englishtown Raceway, New Jersey, handling the massive amount of crowds would be more manageable spread apart over a weekend with a larger venue. Unfortunately, the days leading up to Honda Day Englishtown were filled with reports of rain and thunderstorms for that weekend.
On the morning of Day 1, the clouds were clearly not going anywhere, but the streets were dry and the weather was warm, so the show was without a doubt, a go. Gates opened at 2pm, and considering the threat of thunderstorms all day, Honda Nation wasn’t fazed and it showed with the turnout. Honda Nation in full effect on Day 1! Rain eventually crept in towards the early evening hours, but Day 1 went on for much of the day, with festivities going on throughout the event. Honda Day models were wow-ing the crowds left and right, VHT/burnt rubber was filling the air and the quality of Hondas and Acuras that filled the lot were inspiring. K is the way, and Day 1 proved that with the amount of K-swapped Hondas in the show and on the track.
