Global Rally Cross

As you may know, I have mainly shot Formula Drift this season. Actually I have shot every Formula Drift event this year (minus Seattle this past weekend) and one US Drift event. I got a call from a friend telling me that RedBull Global Rally Cross was coming to the Tristate area, so I immediately applied for media. These Rally Cross cars have about 600 horsepower and can accelerate 0-60 in about 2 seconds and they stop on a dime. So shooting these Rally Cars was very tricky at first, especially since I am used to shooting 1000+ horsepower Formula Drift cars that are sliding and transitioning compared to braking and taking sharp corners. It was a good change of scenery and a very different atmosphere. The Rally Cars come into turns sometimes 4 wide and the turn only fits 4 cars, so its a pretty crammed. The next time Red Bull bring Global Rally Cross to the tristate you should definitely go check it out! It was a great experience shooting this event, i would definitely shoot it again.
