The Gauntlet

Sometimes being different is a good thing, it makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd. Sometimes it is a good type of standout and other times it is not what you were expecting. Well, with this coverage i decided to focus on only panning shots, but i decided to add a little twist to it. Drift cars are all about bright colors and awesome liveries. But what happens when you take away all of those bright colors from the cars? Would it take away from the excitement? Would it make the coverage boring and uninteresting? I decided to take all of my panning shots and create these unique black and white shots. The added drama of the track, high banks, high speeds, long turns, and smoke makes these images catch the eye.
