Formula D Miami

When they call FD Miami “Miami Heat” there is a reason for that. It is HOT! This was the first time they ran at Homestead Speedway and this course made the drivers adjust very quickly. The track was short and fast. Unlike Long Beach and Atlanta, Homestead had an air conditioned media room. After shooting in the blazing heat it was amazing to go hang out in the media room. Miami was also the debut of the new Pro2 series, this gives drivers the opportunity to get more seat time and gain some confidence. Geoff Stoneback won the first Pro2 event and had his best finish so far finishing in the Top 16. There were a lot of hard fought battles, especially the one between Chelsea DeNofa and Tyler McQuarrie. But, Vaughn Gittin Jr came out as the winner 2 events in a row.

See you at Formula Drift Wall!
